I am now officially back, and not back, in New Orleans. Back because I spent a short time living here several years ago (as well as also attending college at Tulane before that). Not back because in some sense I never left or, more accurately, New Orleans never left me. And not back because in some sense this is not the same New Orleans that I left behind years ago. I now will be living here for the next six months, and I hope to use this blog to chronicle my experiences here over that time. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to sharing future thoughts and hearing your comments. bp

Welcome to the blogosphere or whatever the hell the 'net geeks call it. I think what you're doing in NO is great and I look forward to reading about your experiences. I also look forward to visiting you sometime in early 2007 when Mrs. P is there with you. Hopefully, I can fit an Abita tour in while I'm there.

Your Auntie G is very proud of you. I'd like to get your local address so I can keep in touch and get the 'real scoop.' I was quite impressed with the election results, especially in NJ, where the 'sh_t did't stick.' Hope you enjoy Kim's visit, I heard she is on her way to see you, so she will probably get my b-day gift late. Enjoy New Orleans! Try not to work too hard!!
Love you lots-
Aunt Gail
